B. is for bilingual, the second letter in the alphabet, a symmetrical and a symbolic sign. B.Books publishes bilingual art & design books.
Created in London in 2009, B.Books is a collaboration between French graphic designer and art director Claire Huss, and curator, writer and translator Emily Butler.
The first publication in the Word.Books series, Graphic Design Terms, will be published in early 2013. The bilingual English–French glossary is aimed at offering graphic designers and design students working internationally with the translation of specialist terms necessary to carry out their profession.
